Based on discussion during RI2/Kuberef meeting December 9.

Investigate if Kuberef if able to deploy on virtualized infrastructure (VMs).

      • Is this possible using existing tooling?
      • What K8s features are we able to use on VMs?
        • i.e. CPU pinning, NIC/PCIe allocation (PFs/VFs)

The goal is to make Kuberef more accessible for interested parties. Development and testing is currently limited to OPNFV Lab and Equinix Metal, which leaves limited resources for additional work to be done. Being able to deploy on VMs will allow for existing resources to be shared, or new resources to be created with less dependency on HW
